Activation steps
The process to set up your CODE Magazine subscription is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Visit https://my.visualstudio.com/benefits
- Locate the CODE Magazine tile in the Professional Development or Education section of your portal, and click Get Code.
- You'll see a message that your code has been retrieved. Click Activate to continue. (If you're not ready to activate, that's okay. You can always go back to the tile to activate. The 'Get Code' link will read 'Activate' after you retrieve your code.)
- You'll be redirected to the CODE Magazine landing page. Select your country and choose how you'd like to receive the magazine.

Visual Studio Dev Essentials members have access to the digital subscription only.
- Based on your selections, you'll see a note showing the price of your subscription along with the amount of the coupon that's been applied.

For print subscriptions:
- Subscribers outside the United States may incur shipping charges.
- Please allow several weeks for the delivery of your first printed edition.
- Next, you'll need to provide your subscriber information and a delivery address. (The delivery address is required even for digital subscriptions, as it supports fulfillment, offer selection, and digital access processes.)
